Welcome to Mike Christensen’s class project for 32-611-02 (Internet GIS). The address form above performs four functions:
1. Validates the address using the US Postal Service Address Information API. This determines whether the address is deliverable by the US Postal Service.
2. Displays the address in the US Postal Service standardized format.
3. Determines if the address is located within the boundary of the Rose Park YSA (Young Single Adult) Ward of the Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-day Saints using the Google Maps API. A KML file of the boundary, which can be opened using Google Earth, is available here.
4. Displays a map of the address using the Google Maps API.
